What to Do in San Teodoro Without a Car

A car is helpful but not essential for a slow stay centred on the villa, Cala d’Ambra, Isuledda and the town.

What is walkable

Cala d’Ambra is about 150 metres away, Isuledda around 700 metres and San Teodoro centre roughly 1.5 km. Summer heat, road surfaces and evening visibility can make distances feel longer, so wear suitable shoes and carry water.

Going farther

Use licensed taxis, seasonal services or organised excursions for beaches and boat departures farther away. Confirm return arrangements before leaving, especially at night.

A relaxed car-free rhythm

Plan beaches early or late, rest under the portico in the hottest hours and walk into town for the evening. For a mixed stay, renting a car for only one or two days can be a practical compromise.
