Swim. Sail. Wander.
Taste Sardinia.

Personal recommendations for the best beaches, local food, nature and experiences around San Teodoro.

Beyond the villa

Your days,
Sardinian style.

Swim, sail, wander, feast—or simply do less. We are happy to help with ideas for boats, dives, restaurants and day trips.

These are personal host recommendations and practical guides, not paid placements. Sea conditions, opening hours, access rules and seasonal services change, so confirm details directly before setting out.

01

A day around Tavolara

Boats leave San Teodoro and Puntaldìa for the marine reserve, with swimming stops around Molara, coves and sea caves. Routes always depend on the water and weather.

02

Diving & snorkelling

The Tavolara–Punta Coda Cavallo protected area offers remarkably clear water. Qualified local schools run guided dives, introductions and courses.

03

Kitesurf at La Cinta

Summer wind, shallow water and a long sandy shoreline make La Cinta a popular kite and windsurf setting, with local schools operating seasonally.

04

The lagoon & flamingos

The Stagno di San Teodoro lies behind La Cinta. Visit respectfully around dawn or dusk for softer light and possible flamingo and heron sightings.

05

Monte Nieddu waterfalls

Roughly half an hour inland, granite pools, waterfalls and a greener landscape offer a change from the coast. Conditions and access vary seasonally.

06

Eat like a local

Seafood, fregola, gnocchetti alla sarda, wood-fired pizza, artisan gelato and an unhurried evening passeggiata through San Teodoro.
