A first visit to San Teodoro is easier when you understand the rhythm of the area: beaches early, a slower middle of the day and livelier evenings in town.
Choose a practical base
Look beyond general claims such as “near the sea.” San Teodoro Beach Villa 86B is about 150 metres from Cala d’Ambra, approximately 700 metres from Isuledda and roughly 1.5 km from the centre.
Plan transport before arrival
Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is approximately 30 km away and often around 25–30 minutes by car. A rental car gives the most freedom, while a pre-arranged transfer can simplify arrival. Confirm collection, luggage and meeting details in advance.
Expect seasonal differences
July and August are lively and busy. June and September may feel gentler, while services can be less frequent outside the main season. Always confirm current opening and access information.
Reserve the important things
Popular restaurants, boat trips and certain beach arrangements may require advance planning in summer. Keep one or two days flexible for weather-dependent activities.
Respect the landscape
Use marked paths, follow local rules protecting dunes and seagrass, and do not take sand or shells. Carry water and sun protection, especially when walking.
Leave space to do less
A private garden, portico and nearby beach make it possible to enjoy San Teodoro without filling every day. Some of the best moments are the simplest ones.
