San Teodoro’s coastline ranges from small coves to long ribbons of pale sand. The villa places two beaches within walking distance, while a car or seasonal beach bus opens up the wider protected coast.
Cala d’Ambra — about 150 metres
Cala d’Ambra is the nearest beach to the villa and the easiest choice for a spontaneous morning swim or sunset walk. It is a natural shoreline close to town rather than a broad resort beach. Wind and sea conditions change, so assess the water on the day.
Isuledda — approximately 700 metres
Isuledda is a scenic beach framed by Mediterranean vegetation and views toward the wider coast. It is walkable for many guests, although heat, route and beach equipment can make the journey feel longer. Set out early and carry water and sun protection.
La Cinta — around 2.9 km
La Cinta is San Teodoro’s best-known long sandy beach, with pale sand, shallow turquoise water and the lagoon behind it. It is popular for swimming, walking and water sports, and it becomes busy during July and August.
Cala Brandinchi
Often called “Little Tahiti,” Cala Brandinchi is known for shallow clear water and light sand. Summer access is controlled, so confirm the official reservation and fee requirements before travelling.
Lu Impostu
Lu Impostu is another long, clear-water beach north of San Teodoro. Like Cala Brandinchi, it has managed summer access and is best planned in advance.
Capo Coda Cavallo and Salina Bamba
Capo Coda Cavallo opens onto the protected marine landscape facing Tavolara and Molara. Salina Bamba is another useful stop in this area. Choose routes and swimming locations according to weather, access rules and the needs of your group.
Protect the coastline
Use marked paths, avoid taking sand or shells, and follow local rules protecting dunes and seagrass. The best day often begins early, pauses during the hottest hours and returns to the coast later in the afternoon.
